Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before submitting your registration.Your completed registration indicates that you have read all of the terms and conditions, understand them and acknowledge your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  1. Assumed Skills and knowledge: You declare that trainees are able to read, write and communicate effectively in the course medium of instruction and/or they have met ESS Workplace literacy, numeracy Level 5 and above. If trainees are deemed to have not met the criteria, Singapore First Aid Training Centre Pte Ltd (SFATC) reserves the right to reject trainees(before course commencement) and/or bar trainees from course(after course commencement).All fees paid will be considered non refundable if course has commenced.

  2. Medical Fitness: Participants with any medical history or underlying heart and/or lung conditions or any medical problems associated to knee, spine, wrist or joints injury or any physical/mental disabilities are advised to obtain clearance from the doctor to attend the course and assessments. Pregnant ladies are highly discouraged from undertaking the CPR practice due to safety reasons.

  4. Legal binding: By completing and submitting your registration , you hereby irrevocable commit to the registration of the course / training with SFATC. Any changes made to your registration will be subjected to the fees stipulated in this terms and conditions.

  5. Course Confirmation: You will receive an email notification for course confirmation.

  6. Cancellation Policy:  If you think there is a possibility that you may cancel, please read our Refund Policy here before you complete the registration process.

  7. Payment Policy: All payment must be received and acknowledged by SFATC. We reserve the right to cancel enrolments where payment is not made. All certificates will be received only upon receipt of payment.

  8. GST and Taxes: All payment is subjected to GST and taxes where applicable.

  9. SSG training grant: SFATC will submit the SSG training grant application on your behalf provided full set of details is given for all eligible trainees. SFATC will not be held responsible for any lapse in SSG training grant application submission due to incomplete details or incorrect details given by client. Trainees must meet minimum 75% attendance and pass all assessments to obtain training grant. You are strongly advised to seek advice from the relevant funding bodies on matters regarding your funding and subsidies application. Although we may provide you with information on the funding mechanism to the best of our knowledge, you agree to not hold SFATC responsible for any miscommunication, rejected or approved application, loss of subsidies or any outcome related to your subsidies and funding application.

  10. Other Funding: For other funding such as Maritime Cluster Fund (MCF) and UTAP, kindly refer to the respective MPA and NTUC websites.

  11. Successful Course Completion: In order to be awarded a certificate, participants must fulfill the passing requirements of the course, which includes but is not limited to examination passing criteria, attendance criteria and completion of critical course components.There will be no refunds or re-examinations for participants who fail the passing requirement.Any subsequent arrangements to fulfill the course requirements for certification will be at the discretion of Singapore FirstAidTraining Centre Pte Ltd and subjected to the full course fees.

  12. Instructors: Instructors undertake a rotational shift. Instructors schedule are subjected to changes and assigned instructors may be replaced when necessary.

  13. Housekeeping Guidelines: We have done our best to create a favorable environment for teaching and learning. We ask that you be considerate during class. Please follow our simple housekeeping rules: Cell phones silenced during class; Don’t talk to others while the instructor is teaching; Don’t wander in and out of class; Don’t be rude to others.Any damages to the equipment and property of SFATC including but not limited to the equipment, surrounding, furniture or structure of any kind must be compensated and replaced by the individual(s) who caused these damages. Our instructors are empowered to enforce these rules and guidelines. We reserve the right to remove without refund any participant who do not follow the basic house rules and housekeeping guidelines, including but not limited to, potentially damaging our equipment and property and/or causing nuisance, distraction or disruption of any kind to the instructor, staffs or other participants.

  14. Safe Environment: We do our best to create a safe environment and ask that you don’t intentionally create any hazard. If you observe an unsafe condition or an unsafe action, please bring it to your instructors’ attention immediately.

  15. Smoking: SFATC maintains a NO SMOKING policy consistent with National EnvironmentAgency’s (NEA) policies within and surrounding 5 metres of our premises.Any participant who violates this may be removed from the class without refund and may be subjected to action by NEAand/or the main building management. We respect smokers and will direct them to the designated smoking areas.

  16. Model Release: By registering to attend a SFATC course, you hereby grant to SFATC the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use, re-use, display, distribute, transmit, publish, re-publish, copy, or otherwise exploit, either in whole or in part, either digitally, in print, or in any other medium now or hereafter known, for any purpose whatsoever and without restriction, photographs and videos taken of you, or in which you may be included; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. You understand and agree that SFATC and its Photographer/ Videographer may or may not use your name in conjunction with the photographs and videos as he or she so chooses. You hereby release and discharge SFATC and its Photographer/ Videographer, and his or her agents, representatives, and assignees from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and videos, including without limitation any and all claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, and defamation.

  17. Course Cancellations: SFATC reserve the right to cancel course offerings with prior notice and issue a full refund to registrants. Although rare, some courses require minimum attendance for certain activities, certified instructors may get sick or have emergencies or other circumstances beyond our control. SFATC does not accept responsibility for any losses you might incur as a result.

  18. Restrictions: You are NOT permitted to Videotape or record the class; Rent, lend, lease, license, sub-license, transfer, distribute, grant or assign any rights to the lesson, notes, workbook or other materials (“Materials”) that you receive as part of the class, printed or digital, to any third party or any other person; Copy, download, upload, or otherwise reproduce or replicate the class notes in any medium, including, without limitation, online transmissions, local area networks, wide area networks, intranets, extranets and the Internet, in any way, in whole or in part; Use any part of the Materials provided as part of the class in a commercial product; Use any of the Materials provided as part of the class in merchandise, whether for wholesale or retail; Use any of the Materials provided as part of the class, to enter into a competing business, whether directly or indirectly, or to create like or derivative products or services that substitute for or compete with SFATC products or services. This restriction includes sub-licensing, re-selling, renting or distributing the Materials or any derivative works; Use the Materials in a logo, trademark or service mark; alter, remove obscure or obstruct the display of any copyright, trademark, end user license agreement or other proprietary notice onor in the Materials.

  19. Indemnity: By completing and submitting this registration, you hereby declare that you have obtained medical clearance to attend this course. In consideration of the acceptance of this application for enrolment, you hereby agree to waive and release any and all rights and claims for any consequential, incidental or direct injury and damages including without limitation, any loss of data, or loss of profits or lost savings that you or your registered participant(s) may have against SFATC and all sponsors and all employees and agents for any or all injuries and damages which may be sustained and suffered by the participant in connection with your association with, or entry into this training, and which may arise out of my traveling to, participating in or returning from the training.. You hereby declare that you and your registered participant(s) agrees to this indemnity and if injuries and damages should occur during, travelling to or returning from the training, you will bear all costs, present and future, through your own means.
