SELF SPONSORED TRAINEES - NEW TRAINEES

*IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE*

  • This guide is for participants who

    â—‹ did not attend any course at Singapore First Aid Training Centre since April 2022
    â—‹ Are Paying for own course fees
     

  • Ensure that you are using a laptop or desktop computer. Viewing the website on a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet will not give you the best viewing experience.

STEP 2

You will be greeted by this page

  • Select & click on your preferred course. You may use the course categories listed to filter down to your preferred course

STEP 3

Once you have selected and clicked on your preferred course, you will be redirected to the course website page. Click on “Register Now” to proceed to register for the course.

STEP 4

Once you have clicked on “Register Now”, you will be redirected to the website page with all the available course dates

  • Once you have found your desired course date, click on the blue “Register” button to proceed with the course registration

STEP 5

Once you have clicked on “Register”, you will be redirected to the course registration website page

  • Select your REGISTRATION TYPE as “Self-Sponsored” 

STEP 6

Proceed to fill in your details. Please ensure that all fields are filled in.

  • Apply Training Grant
     

    â—‹ If your trainee(s) is/are a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident aged 21 and above , you may proceed to select “Apply Training Grant”. Training grant may cover 50 or 70% of the course fees before tax.

    â—‹ Selecting the “Apply Training Grant” option during registration will not allow you to immediately make payment for the course as we would need to submit your training grant application before issuing the final invoice for balance fee payable after subsidy deduction.

    â—‹ Please note that the for subsidy disbursement you must 
           a. Attend the course fully 
           b. Ensure that you scan the QR code for each course session through your Singpass App 
           c. Pass all assessments successfully 
           d. In the event these are not met, you will need the sponsoring company to top up the undisbursed funding component.

STEP 7

The “Educational Certificate” field is only mandatory for participants attending course that require prerequisite first aid/BCLSAED certificates. Please do not submit any other educational certificates i.e. degree scroll, school academic transcript, etc.)

STEP 8

Payment Method
 

  • Skills future credit - Singapore citizens aged 25 years and above, with sufficient balance in skills future credit account, you can select skills future credit as payment option to offset the balance fee payable after deduction of training grant. (the previous mentioned Training grant is not the same as skills future credit)
     

  • PayNow / Credit Card- Select PayNow/Credit Card to be directed to payment page
     

  • Cash/Cheque/Giro - for these options , we will issue an invoice to you for payment processing.

STEP 9

Once you have completed the form, you may click on the blue “Submit Registration” button to proceed with your course registration.

STEP 10

You will be able to download a booking confirmation pdf file.

  • In the event you have registered to a course with an e learning module
     

    â—‹ You have made payment via Paynow/Credit card, you can proceed to login to our student portal at : https://courses.firstaidtraining.com.sg/auth/client_login through the login info given in the Welcome email sent to you and start the online learning modules

    â—‹ You have selected skills future credit as payment mode, our client management executive will contact you via email with the steps to submit the skills future credit application. Once the skills future credit application is approved, you will be able to access the e learning modules

    â—‹ You have selected cash/cheque/giro as payment note, our client management executive will contact you with steps to make payment. Upon receipt of payment, you will be able to access the e learning modules.

  • In the event, the course does not have any e learning module,
     

    â—‹ You have made payment via Paynow/Credit card , you can proceed to attend the class on the course date.

    â—‹ You have selected skills future credit as payment mode, our client management executive will contact you via email with the steps to submit the skills future credit application. Once the skills future credit application is approved, you can proceed to attend the class on the course date

    â—‹ You have selected cash/cheque/giro as payment note, our client management executive will contact you with steps to make payment. Upon receipt of payment, you can proceed to attend the class on the course date
