Get your diet back on track!
Updated: Feb 6
After a long holiday filled with Lunar New Year feasts, we cannot help but feel guilty about all the good food that was eaten during the festive season. To get back onto a healthy-eating track, here are three easy and simple tips to get healthier.
Exercise, exercise, exercise!
Take aerobic or weightlifting classes at the closest gym or workout at your neighborhood fitness corner. Else, move more during the day by taking the stairs instead of the lift, or do light stretches from your chair during a work break!
Practice mindful meals
A good example is to not rush when you are eating. Take time to chew your food properly as it will aid in breaking down the food!
Detox with a nutrient-packed diet
A good first step is focusing on whole, preferably organic foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, seeds, fish, and eggs.
This means you'll be taking a break from most of the foods and additives that tax your system as well as some chemical pesticides from conventional produce.
