Before Mr Vic Kwek Kar Siong joined SINGAPORE FIRST AID TRAINING CENTRE as a full time instructor, he was a Paramedic for about 10 years with the local Emergency Ambulance Service Chapter under the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

Throughout his progressive experience as a Paramedic, he dealt with a vast range of cases ranging from medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest cases and heart attacks, to traumatic emergencies including road traffic accidents and industrial accidents.

Mr. Kwek was appointed as the role of Overall In-Charge Logistic IC at Alexandra Fire Station from the year 2001 till 2004. Serving his role as an In-Charge, he has to manage all the needs and requirements for the paramedics, NSF medics and ambulance drivers.

Mr. Kwek was also involved in the implementation of ISO 9000 for SCDF Medical HQ in 2000. His role included the planning and writing of new SOPs and medical directives which were to be used by the Emergency Medical Ambulances. Mr. Kwek is currently set on making on his mark in the training industry. With his experience and knowledge from SCDF, he brings along tremendous contribution to SINGAPORE FIRST AID TRAINING CENTRE as a TRAINER and a wealth of knowledge to share with all participants.
